As a builder, Sweaney is demanding of those who work for him. Raised in a family of builders, he thoroughly understands the construction process. At an age when most children were playing in the sandbox, Sweaney had a hammer in his hand. By the time he finished high school he was already working in plan design. His interest in the building industry never waned and he continued to study architectural and construction management in college while operating his own framing crew. His practical and educational background ensure buyers get what they pay for. Sweaney serves as site superintendent on every home. He doesn't rely on trade contractors to do the job, he oversees their work, though he readily admits that those who work on his homes are at the top of their fields. "When you're building this level of a house, you need the best that are out there," says Sweaney. |
